歌手简介：

Nick Cave原名Nicholas Edward Cave（Nick是Nicholas的昵称，也有"恶魔"的意思）， 1957年9月22日出生于澳大利亚维多利亚州Warracknabeal（位于墨尔本以北220哩）。后来举家搬迁到Wangaratta。他有两个哥哥Tim (1952)和 Peter (1954) ，一个妹妹名叫 Julie (1959)。他的母亲Dawn是一个图书管理员，父亲Colin Cave是一位英语老师和颇有声望的教育家。从小Nick就被按一个基督教新教徒的方式抚养大--他参加唱诗班，上主日学。这或许揭示了他日后歌词中浓重的圣经情结的源头。
